Mohamed Elyounoussi continued his impressive scoring form for Celtic with a brace in their emphatic 5-2 Scottish League Cup semi-final win over Hibernian at Hampden Park.

The winger grabbed his sixth and seventh goals of the campaign and fourth in the last three games, whilst Fraser Forster also completed 90 minutes to help the Bhoys to a 30th consecutive domestic cup tie win.

Further goals from Callum McGregor and Scott Brown concluded the scoring, setting up an Old Firm final against Rangers who cruised past Hearts on Sunday.

The only other Saints player to finish on the winning side at the weekend was Mario Lemina, who played the full 90 minutes as Galatasaray beat Rizespor 2-0.

A Montassar Talbi own goal put the hosts on their way, before a Ryan Babel penalty secured the three points.

Elsewhere in Europe, Wesley Hoedt featured twice in the last week as Royal Antwerp continued their mid-table form in the Belgian First Division A.

A midweek 2-2 draw in Genk was followed up with a 3-1 defeat at Royal Excel Mouscron on Saturday, with Hoedt completing both matches.

Also without a win was Guido Carrillo, as the striker featured in the first 61 minutes of Leganés 2-1 home defeat to Eibar to leave them bottom of La Liga.

Harrison Reed was in action for Fulham again

In the EFL, Fulham slumped to a 3-0 home defeat with Harrison Reed involved for the Cottagers, leaving them just outside the play-offs in eighth.

Further down the pyramid in League One, there were defeats for Tom O’Connor and Alfie Jones as Gillingham lost at home to Rotherham, whilst Jake Hesketh was introduced at half-time in Lincoln’s 1-1 draw away to AFC Wimbledon.
