Four festive fixture changes

Four of Southampton’s fixtures over the festive period have moved, with two being selected for additional TV coverage.

The game against Norwich City, which will be staged on Wednesday 4th December at St Mary’s, has been bought forward by 15 minutes (7:30pm GMT), and will be broadcast live by Amazon.

Saints then travel to Newcastle United the following week, which was originally scheduled for Saturday 7th December, but has now been pushed back to Sunday 8th December (2pm GMT) as Newcastle play on Thursday 5th December.

Six days later, Saints’ home tie with West Ham United, taking place on Saturday 14th December, will be played at the later time of 5:30pm GMT, live on Sky Sports.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side were due to travel to Crystal Palace on Wednesday 22nd January 2020, but that tie now be played 24 hours prior on Tuesday 21st January (7:30pm GMT).

Additionally, games against Chelsea on Boxing Day, and Tottenham Hotspur on New Years Day, will be broadcast live along with all other Premier League fixtures by Amazon and BT Sport respectively.
