Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is confident that his side can recover from a dip in recent results, following Premier League defeats to both Tottenham and Chelsea.
Speaking ahead of the international break, Højbjerg explained how a determined dressing room is intent on reversing fortunes, starting with Wolverhampton Wanderers in a fortnight’s time.
“We take it week by week and focus on the next challenge,” the Dane asserted. “We did everything we could to focus on the Chelsea game but we didn't get what we wanted.
“That's why now we've got to look towards Wolves and understand what we can get from there. And what we can do to hurt them. We want to already be working on the next game.
“I promise you we will do everything in our hands to hurt them. At the moment I'd rather not talk too much, I'd rather work and show with the rest of the squad what should be done.”
