Slattery shortlisted for PL2 player of the month

Young midfielder Callum Slattery has received a Premier League 2 player of the month nomination for his performances during September.

The Under-23s captain, who has been at the club for over a decade, was particularly influential during last month's 2-1 win over Wolves, where he provided the assist for Aaron O'Driscoll's headed winner.

The 20-year-old is joined by Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Antony Evans (Everton), George Hirst (Leicester City), James Garner (Manchester United), Rosaire Longelo (Newcastle United), Michael Olise (Reading) and Anthony Scully (West Ham United) on the list of nominees.
