Get up to speed on all the latest news from St Mary's as we get set to host AFC Bournemouth in Friday night Premier League action.
Moussa magic
A moment of magic from Moussa Djenepo at Bramall Lane ensured Southampton recorded a third straight away win without conceding a goal for the first time since 1986.
Following successes at Brighton in the league and Fulham in the cup, Djenepo struck the decisive blow with a sublime solo effort midway through the second half of an engaging contest in south Yorkshire.
The visitors were worthy of the points, but did have Angus Gunn to thank for two important saves to deny ex-Southampton man, David McGoldrick, while VAR also played its part in disallowing Oli McBurnie’s poacher’s effort early in the second half.
Friday night lights
Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men return to St Mary’s this Friday night to host south coast neighbours AFC Bournemouth, live on Sky Sports.
Both team enter the tie in good form, after the Cherries saw off Everton at the weekend, while Saints are on a four-game unbeaten run.

Tickets are very close to selling out, with Ralph Hasenhüttl's side set to be backed by a capacity away end at Fratton Park in eight day's time.
