Hesketh joins Lincoln on loan

Southampton Football Club winger Jake Hesketh has completed a season-long loan move to Lincoln City.

The 23-year-old has joined the League One side, as he looks to help them continue their strong start to life in the third tier.

The Imps, who won the League Two title in 2018/19, are currently second in the table, powered by a run of three consecutive wins to start the campaign and enjoyed a 2-0 success over Fleetwood Town at the weekend thanks to a brace from Tyler Walker.

Hesketh, who enjoyed a memorable loan spell at Burton in the first half of last season, will now join up with his new teammates at Sincil Bank.

Everyone at Southampton would like to wish Jake well for the rest of the campaign, and we look forward to following his progress.
