It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for all the family! Don't miss the SDSA Open Day, supported by Southampton Football Club, which takes place next Tuesday 20th August, at St Mary’s Stadium.

The free event, in the middle of half-term, runs from midday until 5pm in our Chapel Stand and South Car Park, and features a host of attractions, including your opportunity to have a photo taken with the FA Cup, as well as meet some surprise special guests.

The event is being run by the Saints Disabled Supporters Association to introduce members of the public and Saints fans to the diverse activities and services available in the local community, and highlight some of the facilities available to disabled supporters at Saints games.

It also provides a fantastic platform for the SDSA to raise awareness and funds for their future work.

Attractions on the day will include:

• Special guests appearing throughout
• Have your picture taken with the FA Cup
• A penalty shootout with Saints Foundation
• The chance to speak with, and learn from, more than 20 community groups based around the city
• Face painters
• A bouncy castle
• Caricaturists

Entry is free of charge, and local disabled organisations are actively encouraged to attend as visitors, along with individuals and families. There will be routine security checks in place when entering the stadium so don’t be alarmed.

Due to the limited parking, we would recommend making alternative parking arrangements and remind you that this is not a match day and, therefore, a tow-away zone is not in operation.
