Young Southampton prospect Tyreke Johnson has completed a loan move to National League side Woking, as he continues his development.
The 20-year-old winger, who made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in the 3-2 home win over Arsenal last December, has moved to the club until January.
Johnson has come through the Saints Academy, featuring regularly with both the Under-18s and Under-23s, and has made three first-team appearances, which also included both FA Cup ties against Derby last season, making his full debut in the replay at St Mary’s.
He now joins a Woking side that was promoted into the top level of the National League last season, after finishing second in the south tier and winning the play-offs.
The club will be monitoring his progress closely throughout the deal, and wishes Tyreke well for the months ahead.
