Southampton Under-23s' Premier League 2 fixture schedule for the upcoming 2019/20 season has been confirmed.
In a change to last year's regular calendar, most Under-23s home fixtures have reverted back to Monday evenings, at Staplewood Campus, while away games continue to be spread across the week.
Having secured promotion via the play-offs in early May, Saints' youngsters will kick off their new Division One campaign away to Manchester City on Sunday 11th August at City Football Academy, 1pm BST.
Three league fixtures have been scheduled for St Mary's during 2019/20, with the first taking place against Chelsea on Saturday 21st September, and the other two in April 2020 against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Radhi Jaïdi's side will also take part in the Premier League International Cup for the second time this term, having made it to the semi-final stage last season, with fixture dates yet to be released, as well as the Premier League Cup and Checkatrade Trophy.
