Players return for pre-season
Today sees the return of Southampton’s first-team squad for the start of pre-season training.
Ralph Hasenhüttl will welcome his players back into Staplewood Campus following the summer break this morning, as they get put through a series of intense fitness tests.

Africa Cup of Nations continues
Southampton’s two representatives at the Africa Cup of Nations this summer are set for action again early this week.
First up is Sofiane Boufal, who is with Morocco for their meeting with South Africa this evening, at 5pm BST.
Boufal has featured in both of Morocco’s games so far, with qualification for the knockout rounds secured after their 1-0 victory over Ivory Coast on Friday.
Moussa Djenepo is also well-placed to reach the last 16, with Mali top of their standings ahead of tomorrow’s final group match, against Angola (8pm BST). Mali have four points and will advance with a point or better.
Fans enjoy Saints Fest
Southampton supporters enjoyed a memorable day at St Mary’s on Saturday, as the club held its Saints Fest event.
The fan festival featured a guest appearance from Saints manager Ralph Hasenhüttl, among others, as well as live music and additional entertainment.
