Fundraising this season

From Big Bike Challenge to A Game Of Two Halves, the money raised at our fundraising events allow us to transform lives in and around Southampton.

More than £170,000 has been raised by our fundraising events this season. Particular highlights came at our charity dinner. We were joined by first team manager, Ralph Hasenhuttl, and a trio of players, as we raised more than £30,000 over the course of the night.

A golf day with our manager went for £5,000 whilst plenty of other top auction items fetched prices that allow us to continue our work in the community.

Elsewhere, our courageous bike riders, who took on our longest ever Big Bike Challenge from Huddersfield raised more than £27,000. On their ride, the cyclists battled steep climbs and treacherous conditions to make it back to St Mary’s Stadium after 267 miles in the saddle.

At A Game Of Two Halves – our annual quiz show between current superstars and legends – raised more than £13,000 whilst Play On The Pitch raised more than £9,000.

It has been a highly successful year for Saints Foundation, all thanks to the support gained at our fundraising events.

After a summer off, we will return in September for our annual charity golf day, which will see Southampton FC legends join in for a round at Stoneham Golf Club before a Q&A session and a three-course meal.
