Saints Foundation’s Charity Golf Day is back for 2019 with 23 teams of four set to battle it out to be crowned kings of the course.
Once again, Stoneham Golf Club, which was named in Today’s Golfer Top 100 golf courses last year, will play host to the annual Charity Golf Day on Thursday 26th September.
Not only will you get the chance to tee it up on such an illustrious course, but joining the contest will be a selection of Saints Legends. Twenty three teams will take part in the competition, with eight teams getting the chance to test themselves against the former footballers. Later in the day the Saints Legends will also hold a unique question and answer session.
Before the competition, breakfast will be on offer from 8am with bacon rolls and coffee. A shotgun start will commence an hour later.
Running alongside the main contest, there will be challenges out on course including nearest to the pin and longest drive. Away from the course, there will be a raffle, along with a three-course meal in Stoneham’s clubhouse.
The price for a team of four is £500 with a team of three, whose line-up will be completed by a legend, is £600.
This is a unique experience for networking with local businesses or just bringing your own team together at a spectacular venue with Saints Legends.
Last year, Saints Foundation and Southampton Hospital, joined together to run the event and this year will be no different. Our golfers raised £15,000 for both charities in 2018’s event with the funds going to transform lives within our community.
