James Ward-Prowse has been named Saints Foundation’s PFA Community Champion for the 2018/2019 season.

The award is given to a player who has shown a particular commitment to the charity’s work, with Ward-Prowse supporting a number of its initiatives throughout the past year.

Head of Saints Foundation and Community Partnerships, Greg Baker, said: “James has again been a fantastic supporter of Saints Foundation’s work over these last 12 months, as he has been for many years.

"During the past season, he has been out to see our work in action, heading out to schools and other facilities in the community. He shows the club’s ethos at its fullest and the smiles on participant’s faces when they see him really says it all.

“We are fortunate to have a squad of players who fully embrace the role Saints Foundation play in the community, and James has been the embodiment of this.

“It is our pleasure to thank him for his incredible support by naming him as our PFA Community Champion for 2018/19.”
