Saints sign off their season

The 2018/19 Premier League campaign came to an end yesterday, with a 1-1 home draw with Huddersfield seeing Southampton finish in 16th position.

Nathan Redmond's ninth goal of the season – a sensational strike from just outside the box – had put Saints ahead before Alex Pritchard's second-half equaliser.

Support Under-23s in tonight’s play-off final

Missing football already? Well, it’s not over yet for us!

Southampton Under-23s face a huge match at St Mary’s tonight, as they host Newcastle United in the final of the Premier League 2 play-offs.

The match kicks off at 7pm and must be decided on the night, meaning extra-time and penalties if required, with the winner being promoted into Division One.

Women build-up to League Cup final

There’s more football next weekend too, as Southampton FC Women face Oxford City Ladies in their League Cup final.

After a perfect 18 wins out of 18 to lift the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, Marianne Spacey-Cale’s side will be looking to finish off their incredible campaign with a second piece of silverware.

The game is being held at AFC Totton on Sunday, kicking off at 3pm. Entry is free for concessions, with tickets for adults costing just £2.

Virgin Media agree new three-year deal

The club and Virgin Media have agreed a new three-year partnership agreement, which will extend the relationship between the two beyond half a decade.

The deal, which runs until the end of the 2021/22 season, will see Virgin Media remain as the sleeve sponsor of the first-team shirt. Its logo will also appear on the sleeve of Southampton’s Under-18 and Under-23 men’s sides.

And, as an extension to its sponsorship, Virgin Media will proudly become the first ever shirt sponsor of Southampton FC Women. Its logo will appear on the front of the shirt from the start of next season.

St Mary’s is hosting England’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo on Tuesday 10th September, and you can secure tickets for the game today, before going on general sale from Friday.

England are coming to St Mary's later this year!
