With Premier League safety secured, Ralph Hasenhüttl says he is thinking of giving some other players an opportunity when Southampton visit West Ham United on Saturday.
Last weekend's 3-3 draw with Bournemouth was enough to ensure Saints' top-flight status for another year, relieving the pressure ahead of the trip to London Stadium and the home game against Huddersfield Town on the final day of the campaign.
ralph hasenhüttlit gives us a chance to substitute a few players who have not played that often but have trained very hard.
Hasenhüttl insists there will be no let-up in focus from his side, but he also indicated he could make changes to take a look at some players who have not featured so regularly under him.
"It's now a new situation for us, not with big pressure anymore for our team, but that doesn't mean that we will lean back," he said.
"We want to take as many points as possible. The first game, against West Ham, gives us a chance to substitute a few players maybe if we want, players who have not played that often but have trained very hard.
"There is also a responsibility that we develop as a team and put the pressure on the other guys, and now they have maybe also the chance to play.
"That would be nice for them, but it's still about taking points and winning a game, so we cannot go there and say 'Now we take it easy' and expect it will still work, so the concentration now is for this game and a tough opponent."
Hasenhüttl added: "It's important for them to see a signal that we are looking on them.
"We were successful as a team, and I was always speaking about everybody having his job and his role in this team, and I think that's the reason why we now are maybe thinking about giving one or two others of the players a chance to play."
