Southampton Football Club has today announced its individual matchday ticket pricing for the 2019/20 season.
Saints secured Premier League football for another year with Saturday’s dramatic home game against AFC Bournemouth, in front of yet another sold-out crowd at St Mary’s – the seventh of the season – and attention is now already turning towards the excitement of Ralph Hasenhüttl’s first full campaign in charge.
The new season will see the club introduce four categories of matches, having previously operated a two-tier system, meaning Adult tickets will cost as little as £15 for some games, with seats for Under-11s as low as £5.
In order to make matches more affordable for younger fans, the club is also extending its young adult age banding from 18-21 to 18-25, as it has done with Season Tickets.
It is with a Season Ticket that the greatest value still lies, though.
Adults who renew their seat for 2019/20 will make, on average, a saving of £250 against buying tickets on an individual basis, with that value extending to more than £360 in premium areas.
Families will also see a significant benefit for their loyalty from their Season Tickets, with a parent and Under-11 child able to save £320 in comparison to buying on a match-by-match basis, and a parent and Under-18 able to save £284.
New Season Ticket holders will also earn a noticeable reward for their commitment too, with adults saving an average of £192 against individual purchases, extending to £265 in premium areas.
