Josh Sims is Southampton’s penultimate programme cover star of the season as the youngster is the subject of the latest big feature interview for the visit of AFC Bournemouth.

The lively winger discusses at length his unusual campaign, which started with a loan move to Reading that did not quite go to plan, but is ending on a high with the Academy graduate beginning to establish himself in Ralph Hasenhüttl’s thinking.

Elsewhere, Saints’ very own Premier League record breaker Shane Long writes about his seven-second strike and becoming only the fourth Irishman to hit 50 goals since the league reformed in 1992.

Caleb Watts is the latest scholar to tackle our 20 questions, while we turn the clock back to reveal Jake Hesketh’s earliest Q&A from his teenage years at Staplewood.

Issue 20 of SAINTS also includes a feature interview with Franny Benali on his impending ‘IronFran’ challenge, as well as a reminder as to why our club is for everybody in a celebration of diversity.

There are the usual eight pages of quizzes and games to keep the kids entertained before kick-off and during the half-time break – just don’t forget a pen to fill in the answers!

At the other end of the spectrum, our history section continues to cater for our more senior supporters, including a nostalgic look back at some of the club’s finest wins over our south coast neighbours.

Bleacher Report’s Sam Tighe offers an expert view on what to expect from a tactical perspective, while Hasenhüttl and Saints legend Benali bookend the magazine with their latest thoughts.
