Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl wants to see a faster, more aggressive start from his team when they visit Watford on Tuesday night.
Saints had gathered an increasing amount of momentum heading into Saturday's trip to Newcastle, but that was halted somewhat as they were beaten 3-1 at St James' Park.
The bulk of the damage was done in the first half, as Hasenhüttl's side fell two behind during a dominant 45 minutes from the hosts.

With an opportunity to quickly bounce back from that defeat awaiting at Vicarage Road tomorrow night, the Saints boss does not want a repeat of how the team started at the weekend.
"First I hope we will have a good recovery," he said. "There's not a lot of time to work on new stuff, so it's about good recovery and then we go to Watford to make it better than on Saturday.
"I think you have to see clearly that, in the second half, the opponent was not very active anymore, so they were passive and waiting to see what we are doing, so we had more time to play in possession, and that's not really what we expect from the beginning against Watford.
"It will be again a very aggressive game and so we must show up from the beginning, with more aggressivity against the ball and aggression if we have the ball, and better transition forward and more speed in our game.
"We have to be careful that we keep the performances on a high level, otherwise it is not easy to take points in this league, and we need points.
"Four more and we get to 40 and that's our target in the next four games. The sooner the better and the next chance we have on Tuesday is like a game in hand we can use to make a big step, and we should take this chance."
