Want to be a world record breaker without leaving your seat?
On Monday 15th April from 11.30am-12pm, at St Mary’s Stadium, our Health & Wellbeing team will be hosting a Guinness World Record attempt for the largest seated exercise and we need your help to smash it.
The current record stands at 731, which was set in Hong Kong in 2016, and we are hoping to set the bar higher than ever before.
The record attempt is available to all ages and abilities and is free to enter.
Feel free to invite your friends and family along for the attempt. The more the merrier.
Our seated exercises are used in our Generation Gains project to help older adults remain independent, socialise and reduce the risk of falls by maintaining their core strength.
