Mohamed Elyounoussi played 72 minutes as Norway earned a dramatic 3-3 draw against Sweden in Euro 2020 qualifying.

Goals either side of the interval through AZ Alkmaar’s Bjorn Johnsen and Bournemouth’s Josh King had put the hosts in control, but with 20 minutes remaining, Viktor Claesson halved the deficit after former Wigan man Andreas Granqvist had missed from the spot.

And Claesson made another telling contribution in the 86th minute, when he teed up Robin Quaison to level things up. It was the same combination that looked to have won the game when Quaison forced the ball over the line with his body, before late drama ensued.

In the 97th minute, Ola Kamara met Martin Odegaard’s corner from close range to complete the scoring.

Elsewhere, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was a second-half substitute as Denmark made a remarkable late comeback to draw 3-3 against Switzerland in Group D.

Højbjerg, who struck a late equaliser against Kosovo last time out, replaced Lasse Schone in the 70th minute with their hosts leading 2-0 courtesy of goals from Remo Freuler and Granit Xhaka.

Breel Embolo added a third six minutes after the Saints captain’s introduction, which looked to have wrapped things up so late on.

However, Nicolai Jorgensen’s header gave the Danes hope before Christian Gytkjaer reacted quickly in the box to stab the ball home.

They weren’t done there though, and, deep into stoppage time, Henrik Dalsgaard levelled things with his head to earn a share of the spoils.

In Bournemouth, Southampton goalkeeper Angus Gunn watched on from the bench as England Under-21s fell to a 2-1 defeat to Germany in a friendly.

Mahmoud Dadoud’s goal was cancelled out by Cherries striker Dominic Solanke before a Felix Uduokhai strike in stoppage time sealed victory for the visitors.
