Young Southampton forward Ryan Seager has been released from his contract, the club can confirm.

The 22-year-old Academy graduate returned to Saints this month from a loan spell at Dutch team Telstar, and has now been freed from his deal to pursue other options.

Seager made two first-team appearances during his time at St Mary’s, with both coming in the 2014/15 season, while he also spent time on loan with Crewe, MK Dons and Yeovil.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Ryan for all his efforts and we wish him the very best of luck for the future.
