Saints Foundation celebrated the great work of our Generation Gains participants this festive period with their annual Christmas party.
More than 170 people were in attendance from across the city – from our walking cricket players to our Falls Prevention participants – in what was a great turnout, up from 120 last year.
They were treated to a two-course meal in the Mike Channon Suite. Also, on the menu was music and magicians, which went down just as well as the Christmas roast.
This was followed by a quiz, which included huge controversy over whether Norway or Denmark provided the UK with an annual Christmas tree. Along with this, there was a raffle for a signed Alex McCarthy kit and a Secret Santa across the whole project.
Reflecting on the day, Health and Wellbeing’s Jessica Hulbert said: “It was a really uplifting afternoon. It was great to see so many of our participants at St Mary’s Stadium and talk about all of the great work we do in the community. There were so many fantastic, smiley faces and that’s all we can ask for.
“It has been another fantastic year for all of our projects, and we would like to thank Zurich Community Trust for all of their support over the course of 2018.”
