A busy week of international action kicks off for Southampton’s players today, with a host of first-team squad members potentially in action.

Things get under way reasonably early, with Jan Bednarek and Poland hosting Czech Republic in a friendly, at 5pm GMT, as they tune-up for next Tuesday’s Nations League visit to Portugal.

At 5.30pm GMT, goalkeeper Angus Gunn is with England Under-21s, as they visit their Italian counterparts for a friendly.

It’s then back to senior action at 7.45pm, with a potential Saints head-to-head, as Republic of Ireland host Northern Ireland in a friendly.

Michael Obafemi is in the home side’s squad, with the teenage striker hoping to earn a first senior international cap.

On the other side is Steven Davis, who is likely assured a place in the line-up, as Northern Ireland’s talisman and captain.

Also hoping for some action will be keeper Alex McCarthy, who rounds off the night with England, as they host USA in a friendly, at Wembley Stadium, at 8pm GMT.
