Southampton and Virgin Media have teamed up to subsidise ticket prices for two away games, in recognition of the loyal support Saints have enjoyed on the road this season.

The games chosen are Saints’ 325-mile trip to Newcastle United on Saturday 20th April, and the New Year clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 2nd January.

Both the club and Virgin Media want to continue the tradition of showing appreciation for Saints’ tremendous away following, which means tickets for both matches will cost just £20.

Full ticket information for both fixtures will be announced in due course.

Following valuable feedback from supporters, including the newly-formed Saints Voice panel, the club and Virgin Media have also been reviewing wider partnership initiatives for fans.

As part of this review, Virgin Media and the club are actively discussing new ways to reward Saints’ fans for their dedicated support, and Saints fans will be updated as soon as the plans are finalised.

After two proud seasons, the decision has also been made by our club sponsor to stop the ticket subsidy for away fans visiting St Mary’s, in order to make way for their new and refreshed fan initiatives.
