Ella Pusey netted a goal either of half time as Southampton FC Women extended their 100% league record with a 2-0 win over Winchester City Flyers.

Forward Pusey fired the hosts into the lead at their AFC Totton home, before converting from the penalty spot in the second period to safeguard the points.

Full-back Shelly Provan was the provider of both, delivering the cross for Pusey's 20th minute opener, as well as winning a spot kick 15 minutes from time.

Confidently taken, Pusey sent the keeper the wrong way, and ensured Saints would claim their fourth straight league win, and top spot in the Southern Region Women's Football League.

They next face Poole Town FC in the first round proper of The SSE Women's FA Cup, Sunday 11th November (1pm GMT). Find a full fixtures list here.
