Davis’s Northern Ireland face Bosnian test

Steven Davis’s Northern Ireland head to Sarajevo to take on Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight with their UEFA Nations League fate hanging in the balance.

The Saints club captain’s side dominated the game when the teams met at Windsor Park last month but have nothing to show for their efforts so far following two defeats from their opening two matches.

Marko Arnautovic’s strike in Vienna on Friday night means that Northern Ireland must get something in Sarajevo to avoid relegation from their three-team Nations League group.

Davis featured for the full 90 minutes at the Ernst Happel Stadion last time out and will be key to his team’s chances of earning a positive result once more.
