Southampton moved top of the table in the Southern Region Women’s Football League with a 3-1 away victory against Woodley United.
In a competitive encounter, the hosts struck first just two minutes into the second half when Rosie Page Smith converted from close range.
But Saints rallied and got their rewards when Georgie Freeland made things level on 72 minutes, before a second goal to make it 2-1 just a minute later from Ellie Chaffe.
Freeland added her second and a third for Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side just eight minutes from time to seal all three points.
Southampton face Larkhall Athletic next Sunday in the FA Cup third qualifying round at AFC Totton (2pm kick-off).
