Be in your seats early tonight

Heading to the game? Make sure you get to your seats in good time this evening.

There’s a special pre-match show, as the club unveils a light spectacular ahead of kick-off.

Please note, there will be flashing lights and some bangs during the production.

Under-23s just keep winning

Radhi Jaïdi’s side went top of their Premier League 2 standings on Friday night, with yet another victory.

Michael Obafemi’s superb strike – check it out in the video below – secured a 1-0 win at Newcastle, to send Saints’ youngsters to the head of the Division 2 table.

The Under-23s have now started their campaign with five wins and two draws across all competitions.

Hampshire Senior Cup campaign begins

Southampton Under-23s will be back in action on Tuesday night, as they visit Christchurch in the opening round of this year’s Hampshire Senior Cup.

The club’s youngsters lifted the Southampton Senior Cup last season, and will be looking to add another local title this term.

Kick-off at the MA Hart Stadium is at 7.45pm, with tickets £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Saints’ women prepare for next FA Cup clash

Southampton’s women’s side are back in action next Sunday, as they host New Milton in the second qualifying round of the Women’s FA Cup.

Saints beat Swindon Spitfires 6-0 in the first stage, and will be hopeful of progressing further, having earned a confidence-boosting 11-0 victory against Newbury in their opening match of the South Region Women’s Football League Premier Division at the weekend.

Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s team will host New Milton at AFC Totton’s Testwood Stadium, on Sunday 23rd September, at 2pm BST. Tickets are £2 for adults and free for concessions.

Under-18s lose out narrowly

Southampton Under-18s turned in an excellent performance away to Arsenal on Saturday morning in the Under-18 Premier League, but suffered a cruel 1-0 defeat.

A goal late in the first half gave the Gunners the points, but Paul Hardyman’s youngsters could reflect on a very positive display, giving them something to build on when they host Brighton next Saturday.

Saints Voice supporters’ panel meets

The first meeting of the Saints Voice panel, in which supporter representatives meet with club officials to discuss a variety of issues, was held at St Mary’s last week.

The aim of the group is to help the club develop a deeper understanding of issues affecting fans, and the inaugural meeting was attended by a range of senior officials, including managing director Toby Steele and commercial director David Thomas.

The minutes from the meeting will soon be available on our Saints Voice page, while you can also find out more about the members of the panel and raise issues to them yourself.
