Ryan Seager scored his first league goals in Dutch football as he fired a second-half brace to help loan club Telstar to a 4-1 win at Dordrecht in Eerste Divisie.
The forward, prolific in pre-season, got off the mark in competitive action to help secure a second victory of the season for his temporary employers.
Closer to home in League One, Burton Albion shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley in which Jake Hesketh featured.
The Brewers were on course for a first away win of the season after Scott Fraser gave them an early lead, but Billy Kee levelled for the hosts six minutes from time from the penalty spot.
Hesketh was introduced from the bench in the 62nd minute, while Jake Flannigan was an unused substitute.
Elsewhere, Kingsley Latham and Harrison Davis were on FA Cup qualifying duty for Dorchester Town and Tiverton Town respectively.
Latham was denied a clean sheet just three minutes from the end by Wimborne’s Toby Holmes to leave Dorchester on the brink, but Callum Rose’s last-gasp equaliser forced a replay.
Tiverton have already booked their place in the second qualifying round thanks to Levi Landricombe’s winner against Bridport in which Davis was an unused substitute.
