The Attendance Scheme

By SFC Media time Wed 29 Aug Saints Foundation

Saints Foundation and Southampton City Council have collaborated to promote the importance of school attendance to pupils and parents at Southampton schools.

The scheme will be accessible to pupils in Southampton schools in primary, secondary, and special phases of education, including alternative and specialist provisions.

Players from Southampton Football Club will officially launch the scheme on 11th September, where they will discuss the importance of school attendance and introduce a competition.

Throughout the yearlong scheme, each school will have the opportunity to nominate two pupils from their school, one who has shown outstanding attendance and one who has shown a marked improvement in their attendance.

Those nominated will receive a gift and be entered into an additional larger prize draw, where they can go onto win a number of other Southampton Football Club related prizes. The scheme will run throughout the academic year – 2018/19- and will feature a range of videos and competitions to encourage good school attendance.
