The youngsters finished sixth in last year's league competition - their first season in Division Two - but Jaïdi is confident that a positive start will provide the momentum needed to better that placing this time around.
After a successful pre-season, Jaïdi troops are ready to do battle on all fronts, having also entered the Premier League International Cup this term.
"We can't wait for the season to start," the Under-23s coach began. "We'll be facing our first game this week, and we're happy to move forward and get things under way.
"We've had our time to prepare, we've gone through every detail and seen a really good response from the players.

"One thing we wanted to implement early on was togetherness and spirit. As I said, we've seen hard work, commitment and if you embed your values and culture early, it will hopefully pay off.
"We have to increase everywhere to better last season; more support staff and higher of number of games.
"We're playing in the International Cup now, which is a plus for us, and a good challenge for the boys to play against teams from different countries. It's a good benchmark.
"Starting well this Friday will give us some momentum. We're encouraging the boys to keep doing the positive stuff, but we're not neglecting the hard work. It's going to be tough."
