Southampton Football Club will visit Évian-les-Bains for a second pre-season training camp this summer, with the trip featuring a game against French side Dijon FCO.
Mark Hughes’s squad will travel to the south of France on Monday 23rd July, before returning home after facing their Ligue 1 opponents on Saturday 28th July.
Saints and Dijon will meet at Complexe sportif de divonne, at 2pm BST (3pm local time).
The trip, which comes a week after the conclusion of the club’s training camp in China and off the back of the friendly match at Derby this coming Saturday, forms another key part of the preparation for the new season.
It will be the second year in a row that Saints have visited Évian, on the edge of Lake Geneva, for an intensive week of training.
After the camp, Hughes’s players will return to Staplewood for the final part of pre-season, with home games against Celta Vigo and Borussia Mönchengladbach concluding their preparations, before the Premier League curtain-raiser at home to Burnley on Sunday 12th August.
