Halo Conferences & Events scooped a hat-trick of successes at the 2018 Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards.

The annual event, hosted at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium, saw events and hospitality teams from both football and rugby stadia across the country come together to celebrate off-field successes.

The first award of the night for Halo was Gold in Non-Matchday Mystery Shopper Award, which follows on from Bronze in the same category last year. This category is judged based on a mystery shopper enquiring about a non-match day event and the process.

After that, the Shining Star Award was collected by Event Staff Officer Emma Young, with the category recognising and celebrating outstanding individuals who are either at the start of their career, making great strides in their role or someone in a more senior role leading the way in excellence.

The final award saw Halo win the Bronze Best Stadium Events Venue Award, which aims to recognise the very best stadium events venue within the UK and Ireland. The judging panel specifically looked for a stadium venue, which consistently displays exceptional venue facilities and outstanding guest experiences.

“We are incredibly proud & honoured to win such awards. We pride ourselves in our customer service and we are so proud that this is showing this at it’s highest degree,” said New Business Events Manager Jess Phippard.

Emma Young added: “I feel so proud to work for an organisation which values, supports and develops staff to their full potential. I would not be worthy of this award without the dedication from the team around me and thank them for their recognition.”
