Southampton defender Jan Bednarek has been included in Poland's initial 35-man list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The 22-year-old was today confirmed as being included in the provisional group, which will be cut down to a final 23 on June 4th.
Bednarek, who has already earned one senior cap for his country, has earned his spot after a string of impressive performances in the Premier League during recent weeks.
The centre-back made his top-flight debut in the 3-2 home defeat to Chelsea last month, scoring Saints' second goal, and has kept his place in the side since then.
Poland have been drawn in Group H for this summer's finals, in Russia, where they will play Colombia, Japan and Senegal.
