Mark Hughes has confirmed that he has no new injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Goodison Park to face Everton.

The only likely absentee for Saints will be club captain Steven Davis, who remains sidelined despite making a brief appearance from the bench on his return to action at Leicester in April.

Good news then for the Welshman ahead of a critical final run of fixtures against the Toffees, Swansea and Manchester City.

"If you're struggling with injuries in key positions within the team then sometimes you don't have the strength and depth to cope with that," Hughes said from Staplewood Campus on Thursday.

"At the moment we're okay and I hope that continues until the end of the season because that's going to be important.

"We're going to need everyone playing to their full potential. Nobody is ever 100 per cent all the time over the course of a season but we've got to make sure the players perform to their maximum and we put the right guys out there."

All tickets for Saints' crucial Premier League trip to Everton on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off) have been subsidised by Virgin Media and Southampton FC. Click here to purchase your £10 ticket today.
