Josh Sims is the subject of the feature-length interview in the matchday magazine when Southampton host Bournemouth at St Mary's on Saturday...
For Josh Sims, the season has been a frustrating one, with a lengthy knee injury keeping him sidelined for the first half.
After making an impactful Premier League debut last term, the youngster has had to miss out on a defining period in his career, but feels like he has returned stronger than before, and more mentally equipped to deal with the pressures of the game.
Already working under the third manager of his modest senior tenure, the winger is determined to make up for lost time.
"The club is in a difficult position, but you can't think about that too much.
"I want to play as much as I can in that time and take my opportunities. That starts from training - training well and making sure the manager sees that.
"Being from the Academy, you don't always get the pressures that some of the first-team players have. You almost have that bit of freedom - you're out there because you've earned a spot.
"When I play, I play with freedom and confidence, which is what's got me to where I am now. Be direct and be positive, that's what fans want to see.
"Because I've been here so long, I know how much it means to the club [to stay in the Premier League."
For such a young head, Sims talks with confidence and maturity throughout, beyond his humble 20 years, and is confident he can play his part in the club's crucial Premier League run-in.
