Match Sponsor: Solent University

By SFC Media time Wed 25 Apr Solent University

At Solent University we’re extremely proud of our official partnership with Southampton Football Club.

We work with the club to support local activities and sports programmes across the city, offering our students a great opportunity to gain industry experience before they graduate.

Our close ties have also seen a number of our football and sport science graduates go on to have exciting careers at the club, and regular visitors to St Mary’s will have seen Solent branding around the ground.

With around 11,000 staff and students, Solent University offers over 200 different qualifications, from HNDs to PhDs, in subjects including business, sport, technology, and the creative industries.

Every year we’re joined by around an additional 10,000 students studying short professional courses, and we’re also home to one of the world’s leading maritime academies.

We work closely with businesses across the world to develop the courses and professional training we offer – ensuring that our graduates leave us with the skills, knowledge and experience employers are looking for.

Come on over to explore the campus and get a taste of life at Solent at our next open day on Saturday 9th June.

In the meantime, don’t miss your chance to win a signed T-shirt or football before Saturday’s crucial match with Bournemouth – simply join our Coaching and Innovation Programme students outside the Stadium Store to take part in our keepy-uppy challenge!

Then keep an eye out pitchside during half-time to watch players from Solent Red Hawks Football team go head-to-head in a tug of war!
