Southampton head to Wembley Stadium on Sunday for their Emirates FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea, and we bring you all the important information for fans ahead of the game…
Supporters departing St Mary’s Stadium via Official Coach Travel ABSOLUTELY MUST have boarded their coaches by 7.50am.
All coaches are required to leave the stadium at 8am promptly, due to other events in the city that day, and will not wait for any late arrivals. There will be no exceptions to this.
Please be aware there is no parking available at St Mary’s this Sunday, and road closures will be in place in the city, so we advise supporters to ensure they leave plenty of time to reach the stadium.
Southampton City Council has advised that a £2.50 pay and display ticket before midday in the West Park Road multi-storey car park will be treated as valid for the whole day.
Read more guidance from the council on car parking here.
The Stadium Store at St Mary's will be open from 7am on Sunday for supporters wishing to visit in advance of travelling. Due to road closures in the area, the store will be shut for the remainder of the day after the coaches depart.
Supporters who have selected Eastleigh as their pick-up point, please note that coaches will now depart from Southampton Airport (Parkway) station, on Wide Lane, rather than the originally-advertised Barton Peveril.
This is due to emergency roadworks that are affecting Chestnut Avenue.
Coaches will still be departing at 8.45am promptly. Parking is available in the multi-storey car park at Parkway, at a rate of £5 for the day.
Winchester coaches will leave from St Catherine's Park & Ride at 9am.
South Western Railway have added two additional services in each direction between Southampton Central and London Waterloo on Sunday.
These are highlighted below in bold.
Additionally, the rest of the train service has been strengthened and there will be a crowd management system in place at Southampton Central.
