Southampton Women's Under-21s secured their first silverware of the season with a 2-0 triumph over Gosport Borough Ladies FC in the Hampshire County Women's League Cup final.

Staged at Winchester City FC, Chloe Newton opened the scoring for Saints, before Caitlin Collighan made the win safe with a poachers finish at the back post in the second half.

England Under-17 international Phoebe Williams was the game's standout player and walked away with the player of the match award.
