Are you an aspiring young goalkeeper with dreams of playing for Southampton Football Club in the future?

Saints' Academy will be holding another of its goalkeeping sessions this May for those who have hopes of one day being the club's number one.

The session will be on the morning of Saturday 26th May, for boys in the Under-Six and Under-Seven age groups ONLY, for the 2017/2018 season.

The sessions are open to any boy that meets the following criteria;

• Born between 1st September 2010 and 31st August 2011 – U7 age group for 2017/18 (School year two).
• Born between 1st September 2011 and 31st August 2012 – U6 age group for 2017/18 (School year one).
• Lives within a one-hour travel distance of Staplewood Training Ground.
• Has an active interest in playing in goal.

The open session will be run by Southampton FC Academy goalkeeping coaches and recruitment staff, and will provide an opportunity for young goalkeepers to showcase their talents, with the possibility of being invited in to train at the club's Pre-Academy/Development Group.  

The session will last for approximately two hours, during which the boys will experience a variety of activities undertaken by our academy goalkeepers. The time and venue of the session will be confirmed via e-mail on application for the session.
