Despite being frustrated by the overall result, Lionesses midfielder Jordan Nobbs was encouraged by the 25,000 strong backing that England received at St Mary's this evening.
The atmosphere couldn't quite spur Phil Neville's side on to victory, but the point does keep them within touching distance of tonight's opponents Wales, having played a game less.
The Lionesses are well placed to qualify for France 2019, and Nobbs is encouraging all of tonight's fans to carry on backing the remainder of their World Cup qualifying campaign.
"Frustrating for us, because we wanted the win," the Arsenal player said.
"It's unbelievable, the amount of fans that came out to see us tonight. It is a privilege to wear an England shirt and play in front of this many people.
"It was amazing, and they were loud throughout. I can't thank them enough.
"The women's game has grown and grown in recent years, the WSL is in a good place, and it's great that thousands of people are coming to watch our games now.
"We want to fill stadiums, the media coverage is great, and we want fans to follow us to major tournaments. It was phenomenal tonight to have this support, and hopefully it carries on throughout our campaign."
