Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand has been named in Gareth Southgate’s 27-man England squad for the upcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Italy.

The full-back will join up with the Three Lions next week ahead of their international double header at the Amsterdam Arena on Friday 23 March (19.45 GMT kick-off) and Wembley on Tuesday 27 March (20.00).

Bertrand will join fellow Saint Josh Sims in representing England in the coming fortnight, the winger is set to return to the international fold with Keith Downing's U20 squad.
