On Wednesday evening, Saints Foundation welcomed guests from across Hampshire to St Mary’s Stadium for its second annual charity dinner.
As part of the club’s Saints Together campaign, the dinner was an occasion to celebrate the work Saints Foundation does in and around the local community.
Esteemed guests included Saints stars from the past and present, members of the club’s board, Southampton’s mayor and sheriff and other supporters of Saints Foundation.
Throughout the night, guests were treated to exclusive interviews and inspirational stories from some of the stars of this year's Saints Together campaign, including Charlie Austin, Iwan Thomas and Saints4Sport participant Laura Cook.
Even though the charity dinner’s aim was raise awareness of the Foundation’s work, it was also an opportunity to raise more vital funds for the charity, allowing it to continue providing vital support to children, young people and adults at risk across Hampshire.
Throughout the course of the evening, more than £20,000 was raised through the generous support of those attending, meaning over £30,000 was raised from this year's Saints Together campaign, including a very generous donation from Halo Conference and Events, raised through hot food and programme sales on our charity matchday against Stoke.
