Southampton's Under-23s have been dealt a tough home tie with Division 1 high-flyers Leicester City in the Premier League Cup Round of 16.
The Midlands outfit currently sit joint top of the Premier League 2 (Div 1) standings - level on points with Liverpool.
Radhi Jaïdi's youngsters made it to the knockout stages of this year's PL Cup competition by virtue of second place in Group B, with Blackburn topping the four-team seedings, while Leicester qualified as Group F winners.
All knockout ties will be one-off matches. If teams are level after 90 minutes, they will be decided by extra-time and penalties.
A date and venue for the tie will be announced once confirmed.
