Manolo Gabbiadini is a doubt for Southampton’s trip to West Brom on Saturday.
The striker, who came on as a substitute in the midweek home draw with Brighton, missed training on Thursday morning due to a hip complaint.
Manager Mauricio Pellegrino reported no further injury problems, with the exception of long-term absentee Charlie Austin.
“Manolo Gabbiadini couldn’t train today,” the boss revealed. “He’s with the doctor trying to do some studies on a scan.
“He felt some pain in his hip. We will decide tomorrow – I’ll wait for the doctor for some information.
“Most of them, except Charlie Austin, will be available for Saturday.”
