Mauricio Pellegrino knows an important few weeks lie ahead for Southampton, but says all the focus is on getting it off to a good start with three points against Newcastle.
Three of the team's next four matches are at home, with West Brom and Burnley also visiting St Mary's, while there is a trip to Brighton coming up too ahead of the next international break.

Pellegrino is hopeful of his side turning performances into points, after two unfortunate defeats against Manchester United and Stoke in their last couple of outings, and has underlined the importance of doing just that against Newcastle on Sunday.
"It is an important game for us," he said. "We want to show our best version on Sunday, and hopefully it will be a nice game for us.
"I think we deserved to have a couple more points for sure, because against Man United we didn't deserve to lose the game and against Stoke it was more or less the same situation.
"But, in football, it's efficiency. We have to be there to try to translate to the net our performance. We are doing positive things, but, at the same time, we have to improve in some different moments, to be more clever, to be more clinical and we are continuing in our way to try to show in this opportunity how we are."
Looking ahead to the run to the next international break, Pellegrino said: "We have to think about the first one and to put our energy 100 per cent there.
"Obviously, we will play three games at home in the next four and it will be important for us to try to get points from all of them, but we have to think about this first one."
