Gazzaniga completes Tottenham Hotspur move

Southampton Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has completed a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year-old leaves for White Hart Lane following a five-year spell on the south coast.

Gazzaniga moved to Southampton in July 2012 from Gillingham, ahead of the team’s first season back in the Premier League.

He would go on to make 23 appearances for the club, providing important cover in his time at St Mary’s and proving a popular member of the squad.

Gazzaniga spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano, in Spain, and now links up with former manager Mauricio Pochettino once again.
