Paul Clement has urged his players find consistency after their 3-2 victory over Liverpool, when they meet Southampton in the Premier League.

A Fernando Llorente brace and a goal from Gylfi Sigurdsson earned them a vital three points at Anfield as they look to climb away from the relegation zone.

But Clement is adamant that the result will count for little should they not turn in a performance of equal quality at the Liberty Stadium.

He said: “It’s about performing week-in, week-out and that’s what we are looking to do.

“Winning at Liverpool was a bonus, but this is the type of home game is where we have to be looking to do well.

“We have to be better at home. Away results, especially against the big sides, are bonuses.

“But we have to got to be more consistent at home.”

They come up against a Southampton side who enjoyed similar success on Merseyside, and now targeting successive Premier League wins.

Clement added: “They did really well against Liverpool last week and they also did very well in their last league game against Leicester.

“They are a good side and I expect a good game between two sides who try to play football.

“Claude Puel has done really well there. His team are good to watch and play good football.”
