Southampton strikers Shane Long and Graziano Pellè could meet at EURO 2016 tonight, as Republic of Ireland face Italy in a big Group E clash.

The countries are due to face each other at Stade Pierre Mauroy, in Lille Métropole (kick-off 8pm BST), in what will be their final match of the group stages.

Italy have already assured a place in the knockout rounds, as well as top spot, after wins over Belgium and Sweden, but Republic of Ireland still face a battle to advance.

Martin O'Neill's team head into the game bottom of the standings, having drawn with Sweden and lost to Belgium, and they need a win to stand any chance of progressing.

Long has started both matches so far and could well lead the line for the Irish again tonight.

Pellè has also started both of Italy's games, scoring the second in the 2-0 win over Belgium, although, with nothing of note to play for tonight, coach Antonio Conte could make changes.
