Sunday’s edition of SAINTS matchday magazine contains a special additional publication reflecting on how Southampton won the FA Cup in 1976.
The 16-page special is packed with anecdotes from all of the surviving members of the cup winning team and includes an in-depth interview with Lawrie McMenemy about the club’s greatest day out as we approach the 40th anniversary of that landmark occasion.
This special edition is now available as part of the club’s official matchday magazine for Sunday’s game against Manchester City, which is now available to order from saintsmatchdaymagazine.co.uk

Inside the main 84-page magazine is a feature interview with Jay Rodriguez, who discusses is return to first team action following a frustrating season for the striker.
Rodriguez also describes his ambitions for the rest of the campaign after making his first start for seven months in last weekend’s victory at Aston Villa.
One man who links both teams this weekend is Manchester City goalkeeper Richard Wright. The one-time Southampton loanee recalls his short but successful stint at St Mary’s back in 2008 which he credits for getting his career back on track.
This week also marks the sad passing of a man who managed both Southampton and Manchester City, with Alan Ball remembered nine years on.
#InTheBox also returns with defensive duo Florin Gardos and Maya Yoshida. First up, Gardos answers the questions randomly selected by Yoshida.
The images from Saints’ trip to Southampton General Hospital are included as well as a host of other photos from behind-the-scenes in recent weeks at the club.
There’s also a full report and action photos from last weekend’s win at Aston Villa, as well as our ‘fan in the stand’ perspective.
The Under-21s ended their season this week, and there’s a full report from Monday’s final game of the campaign as well as an interview with Armani Little about the midfielder’s breakthrough year at that level.
What’s more, we continue to look back at the last season of football at The Dell, find out more about Southampton’s footballers in World War II, and hear some further anecdotes from Herbie Taylor’s time as a tour guide at SFC.
All this plus the thoughts of Ronald Koeman and Kelvin Davis in their respective columns, provide you with plenty of pre and post-match reading.
SAINTS is available to pre-order online now at saintsmatchdaymagazine.co.uk where you can also find back issues and order future editions from this season.
Sunday’s edition of the magazine will also be on sale – as always – in and around St Mary’s Stadium, priced at £4.
